The Saskatoon Berries make their inaugural trip to Spitz Stadium this week for a two game series vs the Lethbridge Bulls. It's the second season for the Berries in the WCBL and they are currently the hottest team in the league with a 31-5 record and lead the East Division. The two game set is definitely going to be a challenge for the Bulls who currently have a record of 23-13 good for second place in the WCBL's West Division.
IT'S GOING TO BE "WILD" AT THE COUNTY FAIR!
Game 1 of the 2 game set during Beat the Berries week is Thursday July 17th at 7:00 PM as the Bulls host the Saskatoon Berries. Wild 95 FM will be at Spitz handing out prizes during the game. There will be homemade Saskatoon Berry pie for sale, the "WONDER WHEEL" will make an appearance, a pie eating contest, balloon popping game, some great food and fun contests as well. Also, when fans buy their grandstand ticket (sections A, B, and C, excluding drink rail) in advance you get a Hard Knox Beer, a slice of pie and a ticket to the game all for only $20. Only advanced ticket purchasers will be given this fantastic deal! It's game one of Beat the Berries week brought to you by WILD 95 FM. It's going to be UNBELIEVEA-BULL!

94.1 CJOC will be at Spitz Stadium and help us go back in time just a little bit and will be playing all of the greatest hits from Boy Bands and Hair Metal Ballads all Friday night long. We even have a little surprise coming your way from the Bulls in between one of the innings as well! It's not only another Gas King Family Friday abut its a GAS KING FAMILY FRIDAY PLUS! For an extra $10 fans can upgrade to grandstand sets from the bleachers. $50 gets you 4 tickets, a $10 Gas King Card and a family size french fry. There will be drink specials before and during the Bulls vs Saskatoon Berries Friday night game as well! It's all a part of Beat the Berries Week at Spitz Stadium.
Six Bulls heading to the wcbl all star game
The Lethbridge Bulls are sending three pitchers and three position players to Seaman Stadium in Okotoks to take part in the WCBL All-Star festivities on Saturday June 19th. Pitchers Max Mrakovcic, Levi Abbott and Brett Getz will be joined by position players Carter Claerhout, Brennan McTavish and Jack Kalisky at the annual showcase event. Congratulations to all six of these deserving WCBL All-Stars.
On the "road" Again?
The Energy City Cactus Rats are in the home stretch of finishing off their new ballpark but need a spot to play the Bulls as it won't be ready in time for the 2 games the two teams are supposed to play against each other next week in Spruce Grove. So the Bulls are "visiting" the Energy City Cactus SPITZ STADIUM on July 21st for a doubleheader starting at 4:30.
That's right, the Lethbridge Bulls are once again the visiting team for two games at Spitz versus the Cactus Rats.
T-Bone has felt a little bad since the Spitz concession stands ran out of Hot Dogs on $2.00 hot dog night so he has convinced the staff at Spitz to one up the $2.00 deal and they are offering 2 Hot Dogs for $3.00 at the double header.
Also, kids 17 and under get in for free with a parent or guardian. And anyone 13-17 without an adult gets through the gate for 1/2 price! Don't miss out on this great deal of a doubleheader.
