BLUE JAYS GREAT KEVIN PILLAR HEADLINES BASEBALL LEGENDS GALA


The Canadian Baseball Legends Gala is coming to Lethbridge this spring, and it will be one of the signature events of the Canadian Grand Slam Baseball Showcase.

On May 27th at the Sandman Signature Hotel, fans will have the rare opportunity to hear from Kevin Pillar, one of Canada’s most accomplished Major League Baseball players. Known for his incredible defensive plays and long MLB career, Pillar will headline the event which will be the premier baseball event in Southern Alberta this year.

VETERAN PITCHER JOINING THE BULLS

Ethan Webster is joining the Bulls this summer after playing the last three WCBL seasons in Weyburn playing for the Beavers. Webster gives his reasons for the move to Lethbridge for the 2026 season on the latest edition of the Bullhorn up now on YouTube.

The University of Calgary Senior was the the Canadian College Baseball Conference pitcher of the year for the 2025 season and is looking forward to calling Spitz Stadium home for the 2026 Lethbridge Bulls WCBL season.

TEE BALL EXTRAVAGANZA!

Young baseball fans will have a special chance to be part of the action during the Canadian Grand Slam Baseball Showcase with the T-Ball Extravaganza, taking place May 29 and May 30 at Spitz Stadium.

On Friday, May 29, participating kids will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience as they take the field prior to the Lethbridge Bulls game and meet Canadian MLB star Kevin Pillar, who will be in Lethbridge as part of the Canadian Baseball Legends Gala. It’s a great opportunity for young players to interact with a Major League veteran and experience the excitement of being on the field at Spitz Stadium.

The fun continues on Saturday, May 30, with a full T-Ball Fun Day, where kids will take part in games, activities, and baseball-themed stations designed to celebrate the sport and introduce the next generation to the game.

The T-Ball Extravaganza is part of the larger Canadian Grand Slam Baseball Showcase, a celebration of baseball in Lethbridge bringing together players, families, and fans from across the region for an unforgettable week of the game.

The planning is underway for the Canadian Grand Slam of Baseball Showcase and Festival and one event was the focus of the latest edition of The Bullhorn: The Lethbridge Bulls Baseball Report. Bulls owner and GM Kevin Kvame made the announcement that Blue Jays Great Kevin Pillar was going to be the special guest for the Canadian Baseball Legends Gala "Well, I'm really happy that we were able to secure Kevin Pillar, former Star outfielder of the Toronto Blue Jays, to, to be coming to Lethbridge at the end of May for the, for the dinner and also the Bulls qualifier celebration game and T-ball extravaganza celebration on the Bulls game on Friday night, the 29th" said Kvame.

FLEX PACK HOLDERS FIRST GRAB AT SINGLE GAME SEATS


Lethbridge Bulls Flex Pack holders get the first crack at the best seats in Spitz Stadium. Beginning Sunday, March 15, Flex Pack holders can start redeeming their vouchers and purchasing single-game tickets for the 2026 season before they become available to the general public.

This early access gives Flex Pack members the opportunity to lock in seats for some of the season’s biggest nights, including Opening Day on May 28, special theme nights, and key weekend matchups.

Flex Pack holders can redeem their tickets online or through the Bulls ticket office starting Sunday. Once the public sale opens, some of the most popular games are expected to fill quickly, so we encourage Flex Pack members to secure their seats early.

In this week’s Sponsor Spotlight, we’re proud to welcome back one of the Bulls’ community partners, McDonald's.

McDonald’s returns for the 2026 season as the sponsor of the popular Build-A-Burger promotion, a fun in-game feature that gives fans the chance to stack up prizes while cheering on the Bulls. Their support helps add even more energy and interaction to the gameday experience at Spitz Stadium.

McDonald’s is also continuing its support of the Lethbridge Bulls Kids Camps, helping young players in our community learn the game, develop their skills, and build a love for baseball that lasts a lifetime.

We’re grateful to have McDonald’s back on the Bulls team and appreciate their continued commitment to youth sports and baseball in Lethbridge.

Bulls hosting job fair march 27th

The Lethbridge Bulls are getting ready for another exciting summer at Spitz Stadium, and we’re looking for great people to join the gameday team.

The Bulls 2026 Hiring Fair will take place on March 27 from 3:00–6:00 PM at Spitz Stadium. Anyone interested in being part of the action this summer is invited to stop by, meet the staff, and learn about the many opportunities available with the organization.

Positions are available in several areas including gameday operations, food services, facility maintenance, press box roles, media internships, and volunteer opportunities. Whether you’re interested in working behind the scenes, helping run the entertainment on gameday, assisting with broadcasts, or being part of the fan experience, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume, as interviews will be conducted on site during the hiring fair.

Working with the Bulls is a great way to gain experience in sports, media, and event operations while being part of one of the best summer atmospheres in southern Alberta. If you love baseball, working outdoors, and being around a great crowd, this could be the perfect summer opportunity.
