The Canadian Grand Slam of Baseball & Festival is set to transform Lethbridge into the heart of baseball in Canada for an unforgettable stretch in late May. Combining elite competition, community events, and a full festival atmosphere, this multi-day celebration brings together players, fans, and families for a one-of-a-kind experience. From the Canadian Baseball Legends Gala and the Lethbridge Bulls Opening Weekend to youth camps and interactive fan activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy both on and off the field. Who?

The Canadian Grand Slam of Baseball & Festival brings together elite amateur and collegiate players from across Canada, the Lethbridge Bulls, and the entire Southern Alberta community. From passionate baseball fans to casual observers, to families, young athletes, and first-time visitors to Lethbridge, this event is designed for everyone to be part of.

What?

A one-of-a-kind combination of high-level baseball and a full-scale festival experience. The Canadian Grand Slam features multiple major events, including the Canadian College Baseball Conference World Series, The Prairie Qualifier for "The Road to Okotoks" National Championship, The annual Tanner Craswell/Mitch Maclean Memorial Baseball Game, The Canadian Baseball Legends Gala featuring retired Blue Jays great Kevin Pillar , the Lethbridge Bulls Opening Weekend, youth and community-focused kids camps, and additional special events throughout the week.

Off the field, fans can enjoy a full festival atmosphere with live local bands, food trucks, vendors, beer gardens, kids activities, bouncy castles, and interactive experiences at the Grand Slam Festival at Parkside Plaza this event has something for everyone

When?

The Canadian Grand Slam of Baseball Showcase and Festival runs from May 21st to 31st 2026

Where?

All events are centered around Spitz Stadium, with additional select events hosted at partner venues throughout the city, creating a true city-wide baseball celebration. The Sandman Signature is the host hotel and banquet facility for the event. The area around Spitz Stadium will be named the "Parkside Grand Slam Plaza for the duration of the event. 

Why?

The Canadian Grand Slam was created to celebrate the game of baseball while bringing the community together in a meaningful way. By combining elite competition with accessible, family-friendly events like camps, the gala, and festival activities, it creates opportunities for fans of all ages to connect with the game and each other.
