Bulls sign Nolan King for 2022 WCBL Season

01/28/2022 11:26 AM -

A new face will be roaming the outfield for the Lethbridge Bulls this summer.

The Lethbridge Bulls are pleased to announce the signing of outfielder Nolan King from Regina, Saskatchewan. Nolan plays collegiately with the Okanagan College Coyotes in Kelowna, BC. The Coyotes compete in the Canadian College Baseball Conference (CCBC). In 31 career games with the Coyotes, King has posted a .267 batting average with one home run and has driven in 26 runs.

King says he wanted to come to Lethbridge because of the team’s reputation and championship culture.

“I picked Lethbridge because they won the championship last year. They have a good championship culture. And I’ve heard really good things from other players around the league about the coaching staff and how they treat their players.”

Even though King was a not a member of the 2021 WCBL Championship team, he wants to help the team prove the legitimacy behind the championship. King says he want to be a part of Lethbridge being the team to beat.

“Even though I haven’t been a part of Lethbridge, I want to prove this year that last year was no fluke. COVID year, things happened but I still want Lethbridge to be the dominant team.”
