RECAP: June 27 VS Okotoks Dawgs Red06/28/2021 9:00 AM - Yesterday’s matinee was a tough one for the Lethbridge Bulls, the final score coming to 11-9 for Okotoks Dawgs Red, Kyle Poapst starting on the mound for the Bulls. Okotoks came in swinging and put 6 runs on the board in the first three innings, Lethbridge sitting scoreless until the fourth inning when they brought in one run. The fourth inning brought the action as Lethbridge put in the work, and brought in 5 runs before Ty Penner hit a two run homerun to pull the Bulls ahead! The fifth inning saw Okotoks regain their lead and the score sat at 9-8 for the Dawgs. Okotoks added on one more run in the sixth, securing their lead over the Bulls by two. By the bottom of the 8th, Lethbridge added on one more run to put the score at 10-9 for Okotoks going into the final inning of the ball game. The matinee ended with the Dawgs adding one more point and securing their lead again by two points, leaving the final score as 11-9 for Okotoks. The next Lethbridge Bulls home game is on Canada Day! This Thursday we play the Edmonton Prospects twice, the first game at 2:05pm with a home field advantage for Edmonton, and the second game at 7:35pm when we pack the park to full capacity!
