5th Annual TCMM Memorial Game Recap

05/27/2016 3:42 PM -

Prior to first-pitch in the night game, this years Bulls players and staff hosted an instructional kid’s camp that showed a turn-out of over 140 little leaguers! For only $10 any kid could particpate, and recieve instruction from the current Bulls and the current Jets. It was an amazing turnout for the first attempt at a camp like this. It is a testament to the baseball community in Lethbridge.

“Seeing the smiles on the potential future all-stars made this an awesome experience”

The 5th annual Tanner Craswell Mitch MacLean Memorial game fell nothing short of the built up anticipation. Back and forth competition throughout inning one through nine kept the hometown fans in their seats until the end.

Ending in a 6-6 tie, this made the outcome all the more treasurable. Over four years ago two athletes were taken from the Lethbridge family. Wednesday night, both teams prominently admitted that they were playing for something bigger than just the game of baseball. The middle infield duo will not be soon forgotten. The Bulls will use the revenue from TCMM game to bring an opportunity to a young athlete in Alberta who needs financial aid. The TCMM Scholarship has been given away to a PBA athlete all 4 years at the annual banquet in January. Nights like tonight are why we continue to be able to give that scholarship away in memory of the boys.

Thank you to everyone who attended the 5th annual TCMM game. It was another amazing night for the Lethbridge Bulls and their fans.
