Bulls Season Starts Friday!

05/26/2015 9:52 AM -

The 2015 Bulls season starts Friday! Here at Spitz Stadium there is a buzz in the air. The coaching and administrative staff have been working hard to make sure 2015 is the best experience possible for our great fans. I sat down with President and General Manager of the Lethbridge Bulls Kevin Kvame to hear his thoughts about the 2015 season.

Kevin was quick to point out that there will be 15 familiar faces on the Bulls roster this season. With that type of loyalty it is a lot easier to build team chemistry.

“As an organization we are very pleased to be returning 15 players from our 2014 roster. Having that familiarity helps the team on the field and in the community. We were also able to bring in some new faces who will be looking to help build off 2014’s successes. I think everyone involved in the organization expects to put another very competitive product on the field for fans to enjoy.”

Kevin has been working hard to continue to improve the fan experience at Spitz Stadium during the summer time.

“It is our goal as an organization to continue the growth of the Lethbridge Bulls on the field and around the stadium. This year we are excited to introduce a new game day program for fans to enjoy. Also the Bulls are introducing a new proprietary food item at concessions this season. The Bulls Benchmark Boomstick will be a jumbo sized hotdog topped with all the fixings.” Be sure to check out all the new promotions happening this year at Spitz Stadium.

The Bulls are also looking to continue to show their involvement in the community of Lethbridge. This season the Bulls are expanding their Special Recognition Program, at the start of each home game. The program will feature prominent individuals from the Lethbridge community who have been recognized for excellence in their personal fields. Kevin had this to say about the program. “We feel that it is part of our responsibility as a recognizable brand in Lethbridge to show off the individuals who make this community so great.”

Kevin also talked about the exciting renovations that will be taking place this fall. The grandstand will take on a completely new look for the 2016 Bulls season. An open-air concourse with new amenities will help Spitz Stadium stay on the cutting edge of baseball facilities in Alberta.

Be sure to check out the Bulls at home this weekend when they take on the rival Okotoks Dawgs. The home opener will take place at 7:05pm Friday. Go Bulls!
