Bulls Can't Be Stopped

07/10/2014 10:21 AM -

It was an exciting night at Spitz Stadium for the Bulls yesterday July 9th as they faced the Edmonton Prospects for the ninth time this season. After a quick 1st Inning we saw some great action in the bottom of the 2nd. #14 Mitch Dornblut got things going for the Bulls with a double and soon after #25 Travis Steinke brought him home with a single. #5 Evan Comeau brought the score to 2-0 after a costly error by the Prospects and another Prospect error took the score to 3-0 Bulls. Justin Clarkson's double made the score 4-0. Skip ahead to the 5th and the Bulls get a walk-in to make the score 5-0 and after a beautiful single by #32 Dylan Dyson the score was 7-0 Bulls. The last one to get a run on the board was #25 Travis Steinke doing it in style when he hit it out of the park!

#27 Mac Major was starting pitcher for the Bulls and pitched until the top of the 7th when #28 Chris Stodolka came in. Stodolka was followed by #31 Sean Harvie in the top of the 8th, and #26 Tyson Hudson.

Final score was 8-2 Bulls!

As of the writing of this article the Bulls are still 1st in the league with a record of 20-9! Lets keep the momentum up boys!

The Bulls had a good rest last night and are back at Spitz Stadium tonight, July 10th, to host the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets who are currently last in the Central Division.
