Alyssa is a professional performer from Lethbridge with several musical accolades’ to her name. You can catch her at several venues around Lethbridge, Mocha Cabana and the Cotton Blossom Lounge just to mention a few.  Alyssa also tried out for Canadian Idol.

My name is Alyssa McQuaid. I am 20 years old from Lethbridge Alberta Canada, and my one true love is, and always will be, my Taylor guitar. I believe in honesty, love, freedom and being your-self, no matter what. I try to express this as best I can through my music. I have been singing since I was a little girl, when I used to proclaim at the top of my lungs, “Mommy, I love to sing!” Or so I’m told. I love to tell stories and most of the songs I sing, whether they are my own, or covers, tell a story. I believe that everyone has a story and if you take the time to listen, you can leave every relationship a better, stronger, more inspired person.

I love children. I love their innocence and their beauty and their undying faith in fairy tales. I love that they are not afraid to sing along! I believe that everyone has that innocence and the ability to sing along at the top of their lungs inside of them somewhere. I also believe in fairy tales. I believe that music is a gift to share with those that I love, and I believe in love more than I believe in anything else. I adore any new listeners and accept new fans into my heart with warm and open arms so keep listening, stay beautiful, and never stop believing in fairy tales.

Also Lethbridge Musical Theater as Rose in Bye Bye Birdie and the Baroness in the Sound of Music.  Diane lived in Phoenix, Arizona for many years and is privileged to sing the American National Anthem as part of her contribution to the Bulls.  She’s glad she is on Canadian soil to sing our own anthem as she never could keep from crying when she heard it in the USA.
