Bulls Out Hit Dawgs, But Lose
It's been said seven is a lucky number, but not for the Bulls. Especially when that's the number of errors the team committs in a game.
The Bulls had seven errors Tuesday night in Oktoks and lost to the Dawgs 17-8. The West Division leaders jumped out to a 4-0 lead after one inning, lead 7-2 after three, and increased their lead to 14-4 after six innings.
The Bulls got three runs the seventh and one more in the ninth to narrow the margin of victory. The Bulls out hit Okotoks 18-13, but are now 20 and 18 after th loss.
They host the Edmonton Prospects Wedneday night for a make up game that was rained out July 14. It's the opener of a four game home stand, with Okotoks the visitors Thursday, and the Moose Jaw Miller Express in town for a two game series Friday and Saturday. All four games are 7:05 starts at Spitz Stadium.
