The road is proving to be a cruel and frustrating place for the Bulls. Friday in Melville the Bulls opened a two game series against the Millionaires and lost 4-3.

After opening their nine game road trip with a win against Saskatoon, the Bulls have dropped three straight and have slipped to 6 and 9.

Melville scored a run in the bottom of the 11th to break a 3-3 tie, in a game that took nearly four hours to play. Both teams had ten hits and left a total of 28 runners on base...15 for Melville and 13 for the Bulls.

Scott Hornstra took the loss, the sixth pitcher the Bulls used in the game. Rob Hogue got the start, went four and two-thirds innings, allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, walked 6 and struck out one. He was followed by Jared Mortenson. Richard Pharr, Jimmy Munnil, Steve Hogue and Hornstra.

Shortstop Dustin Bissonnette lead the offence, going 4 for 5 with a double. Josh Lowden was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Eric Dorton went 2 for 6 with a run scored.

The Bulls are in Melville again Saturday, then visit Yorkton Sunday to wrap up the Saskatchewan portion of their road trip.
