On Friday night the Lethbridge Bulls hosted the Moose Jaw Miller Express for a second night hoping to make up for the loss the night before. With the Bulls not being able to score any runs, Moose Jaw took home the win of 3-0. This loss brought the Bulls losing streak to five games.

The Bulls losing streak was finally broken after the Bulls won their game 5-1 on Saturday against the Edmonton Prospects. The next home game for the Bulls is Monday July 19th against the Okotoks Dawgs.

The Lethbridge Bulls are on an unfortunate four game losing streak. After losing to Okotoks on Sunday with a final score of 8-2, the Bulls traveled to Medicine Hat to try to secure a win, but were unable to come through leaving the final score of Monday night’s game 9-4. Tuesday night the Bulls were at home playing another game against Medicine Hat, and after a long cold night of baseball the Bulls lost 15-14. Last night the Bulls were at home facing the Moose Jaw Miller Express and after a short 1:56 game the Bulls lost 3-2. The Bulls are playing at home tonight against Moose Jaw and tomorrow night against Edmonton.

After coming off consecutive losses, where the Bulls only managed to score a combined 3 runs, they seemed to get into the swing of things Wednesday night. The Bulls exploded with 5 runs in the 5th inning. Then they gained some insurance to lock in the victory the Bulls scored an additional 4 runs to bring their lead to 9. The Sox, only managed to score a single run in the bottom of the 9th. The Bulls end their back to back in Regina with a 1-1 record.

Their next game will be Friday the 9th where they will play the Okotoks Dawgs, a team that has had their number this season. Friday’s game is brought to you by 94.1 The Lounge, who presents “70’s Night” Come dressed up in your best 70’s wear! Best dressed will win the Best Seats in the House brought you to by The Brick as well as a pizza from Two Guys & A Pizza Place.

The Lethbridge Bulls battled the Okotoks Dawgs three times in as many nights, with two very different results. The Bulls only win was sandwiched between two lopsided losses. What is leaving the players, coaches, as well as many fans confused is how they win and how they lose games. Watching the Bulls play Friday and watching them play Saturday was like watching two different teams. The team that played Friday was sloppy and prone to errors. However, if the Bulls are able to play the way they played on Saturday night, there are few teams in the league that can keep up to them.

This team looks like a team that is ready to take the next step. The players and coaching staff know that they can beat anyone in this league when they are playing at their best; it’s just a matter of crossing their T’s and dotting their I’s. Tonight the team is on Medicine Hat to take on the Mavericks, for their second last away game of the year.

PostHeaderIcon Bulls Losing Streak Goes to Two

The Lethbridge Bulls are on the road for back-to-back games versus the Regina Red Sox. The first of those games was played last night. The Bulls came out gaining the lead with one run in the first inning; where they lead the game 1-0. Then in the 3rd inning, the Sox took control of the game driving in 4 runs. The Bulls once again were unable to muster any sort of offense, finally losing the game 8-1. During this losing streak the Bulls have been outscored 16-3 and they will look to remedy their lack of scoring tonight when they, once again, play the Red Sox in Regina.
